Tour leaves Lady Gaga in debt
Tour leaves Lady Gaga in debt. Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga's Tour Left Her $3 Million In Debt. Lady Gaga was left $3 million (£1.9 million) in debt when her Monster Ball tour forced her into bankruptcy.

The pop superstar launched her second series of live concerts in 2009 and has spent two years touring the show.
She previously admitted her lavish stage sets and production costs left her bankrupt and she has now revealed she was struggling with a massive multi-million dollar debt.

In an interview with Stephen Fry for Britain's Financial Times, Gaga says, "I put everything in the show, and I actually went bankrupt after the first extension of The Monster Ball. And it was funny because I didn't know! And I remember I called everybody and said, 'Why is everyone saying I have no money? This is ridiculous, I have five number one singles' - and they said, 'Well, you're $3 million in debt.'"

Lady Gaga raking it in with 'Born This Way'
Lady Gaga raking it in with 'Born This Way'. It's one thing to sing about a motorcycle, and it's another to sing about a unicorn. But when you put your motorcycle song and your unicorn song in the same song? And call it "Highway Unicorn (Road to Love)"? Now that's a pop visionary.Lady Gaga knew it was time to crank up the crazy, and she didn't hold back: "Born This Way" is her Eighties arena-rock move, going for maximum goth Catholic bombast. The whole album thumps like the soundtrack to a lost "Eddie and the Cruisers" sequel, one where Eddie gets crucified by Roman soldiers, while Gaga stands under the cross weeping and sending dirty texts to the DJ. "Born This Way" has all the electro-sleaze beats and Eurodisco chorus chants that made her the Fame Monster. But the big surprise is the way Gaga pillages the Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar and Eddie Money records of her childhood. In the 1980s, radio was full of tormented Catholic kids, from Madonna to Springsteen. Gaga clearly grew up on that stuff. She doesn't just give her Springsteen homage "The Edge of Glory" a sax solo -- she gets Clarence Clemons himself to play it.
Exclusive: How E Street Band Saxophonist Clarence Clemons Ended Up on Lady Gaga's New Album
All over "Born This Way," she takes on the big topics dear to her heart: sex, religion, muscle cars, her hair. She sings in French, German, Spanish and whatever language wants to claim "punk-tious." She seduces men, women, deities and dead presidents. ("Put your hands on me/John F. Kennedy" -- hey, it rhymes.) And in "Heavy Metal Lover," Gaga purrs the immortal pickup line "I want your whiskey mouth/All over my blond south."
Some songs are already familiar -- at this point you could hum the Tarzan-boy yodels of "Judas" in your sleep. But the singles gain resonance on the album, where they're surrounded by similar-minded psychosexual turmoil. "Born This Way" pulls an expert (expletive)-stole-my-look on Madonna's "Express Yourself." But that isn't even the most brazen Madonna rip here: That honor goes to "Judas." And if you thought the Catholic angst of "Judas" was over-the-top, check out "Bloody Mary," where Gaga does the Stations of the Cross to a Chic bass line.
Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way': A Track-by-Track Breakdown
What makes "Born This Way" so disarmingly great is how warm and humane Gaga sounds. There isn't a subtle moment on the album, but even at its nuttiest, the music is full of wide-awake emotional details. The friendliest cut is "Yoü & I," her love song to a "cool Nebraska guy." She has been playing it live for a while, but who knew she would let Mutt Lange put "We Will Rock You" drums all over it? Or bring in Queen's Brian May to play guitar?

Lady Gaga releases 'Judas' video
Lady Gaga to release music video for Judas this Thursday
Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated music video for Judas has been given a release date of this Thursday. Gaga’s creative director and co-director for the video, Laurieann Gibson, has let a few deets slip, including Gaga portraying the role of Mary Magdalene and Boondock Saint’s Norman Reedus in the role of Judas.

Gaga has announced that the video will premiere on American Idol with an uncut version becoming available later. Like Gaga’s Telephone, the music video for Judas will measure seven minutes in length. Gaga recently explained that the video for Judas “…suggests that forgiveness and betrayal are hand in hand, The video puts destiny above all things and postures that the mistakes in your life are in fact not mistakes at all, they are just part of your overarching potential and your destiny.”

It’s been reported that Judas cost…wait for it…$10 million!!! If this is true it would make Judas the most expensive music video ever made, even edging out Michael and Janet Jackson’s 1995 video for Scream, which at the time cost $7 million. Dang gurl, this better be some impressive shiz!

Lady Gaga Real Name
Lady Gaga’s Birthday Reveals Her Real Name And A Strange Birthday Cake
Yesterday was Lady Gaga’s 25th birthday. What has stumped most of her fans is what her real name is. Search terms like “lady gaga real name” and “what is lady gaga’s real name” spiked to record levels during her birthday. All her fans would have to do is a Google search and Wikipedia would bring it up for them as Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. Lady Gaga got her stage name in a weird way. According to her producer, Rob Fusari, he sent her a text and meant to put Radio Ga Ga. The text auto corrected itself from Radio to Lady. When Gaga got the text she loved it and the rest is history.

Another spotlight for Lady Gaga’s birthday was when Ellen DeGeneres called her up to wish her a happy birthday. Ellen had a truly Gaga style cake made. This sucker had Kermit the frog, two humongous bows, smoking cvc pipes, and some crown thing on top. Ellen said it could be a hat, a dress, or whatever she wanted to wear it as. Lady Gaga was thrilled. I hope she had a great birthday.

Marisa Tomei: Lady Gaga Flattered Hollywood Actress Marisa Tomei
MARISA Tomei was “so touched” when Lady GaGa said she wants the actress to pay her in a movie.

In a recent interview on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up, the 24-year-old singer –real name Stefani Germanotta — was asked who should play her in a biopic.

“I’ve always been a big fan of Rosario Dawson,” GaGa said. “Oh, you know what? I would have Marisa Tomei play me. I am such a Marisa Tomei fan.

“All my friends call me Marisa when I get angry.

“Because my New York accent just flies out of my body and I start smacking my gum.”

And Tomei admits she was delighted by GaGa’s comments.

“I heard because my Aunt Arlene, who lives in Park Slope, sent the family an e-mail about it. So … I dunno. Aunt Arlene knew about that one,” she said.

“I was thrilled when I heard. I love her. I love her music. And she’s a smart businesswoman. So, I was so touched, really. I think it’s incredible that she likes my work and that she’d think of me in that way. I thought it was great.”

Lady Gaga Arrives by Private Plane in Canada Wearing Another of Her Revealing Outfits
Lady Gaga Arrives by Private Plane in Canada Wearing Another of Her Revealing Outfits
Most people look travel-worn by the time they embark off of a long haul flight and would hate nothing more than having their photograph taken.
But not Lady Gaga - she got off of her private jet today in Canada and went straight into a photo shoot on the tarmac.
The camera-ready singer had just arrived in Toronto from Paris where she strutted the catwalk at a Thierry Mugler runway show.

Gaga did not disappoint in her latest ensemble which was a cross between a Flashdance costume and rocker chic ensemble.
The 24-year-old wore her favourite heel-less leather boots which did a great balancing act on.
She wore purple tights which showed off her black thong underwear underneath and matching purple gloves.
A black leather side-less top finished off her look.
Her new hairstyle, which she is forever changing is now a blonde do with a heavy black fringe.
Gaga strutted down the stair of the private plane as photographer Terry Richardson captured her walking from the jet to her tour bus.
She will be performing at the Air Canada Centre tonight as part of her Monster Ball tour.
Gaga had strutted down the catwalk earlier this week for the stylish Nicola Formichetti collection as creative director of Thierry Mugler at Paris Fashion Week.
Gaga had worn a predictably outrageous outfit for her Thierry Mugler show, wearing a sheer black dress and military-inspired hat while making her entrance in a cloud of cigarette smoke.
The Born This Way Star had worn long blonde pigtails to strut like a pro to her forthcoming new single Government Hooker for Formichetti, the man behind her infamous meat dress.
The singer also released the video for her new single Born This Way this week.
In the provocative and risqué new clip, which is set in outer space, Gaga is seen to give birth to an unknown being, strips off to her underwear for a dance routine and gets dressed up as a skeleton in a suit.
